About The Position

The Capital Advisory Group Summer Analyst Intern role offers a demanding but supportive, team-oriented experience with many of the same responsibilities as a full-time Analyst. The team advises on middle-market financing transactions, including acquisition financings, refinancings, dividend recaps, amendments, and restructurings. Interns gain exposure to financial analyses, modeling, valuations, transaction marketing, investor diligence, and a broad range of industries and capital providers. The program runs for 10 weeks, and summer analysts are evaluated for potential opportunities in the full-time class upon graduation. The position follows Lincoln International’s hybrid structure: employees work in the office Monday through Thursday and may work remotely or from the office on Fridays.

Requirements

Be assertive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Have strong writing, verbal communication, and computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Be working toward a degree in finance and/or accounting, or have completed significant coursework in these areas.
Be graduating in Winter 2028 or Spring 2029 and be an undergraduate student in the sophomore year of study.
Have a minimum GPA of 3.5.
Not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Perform financial analyses, complex financial modeling, and valuations.
Prepare marketing materials for sale and debt placement components of Capital Advisory Group assignments.
Identify potential lenders, acquirers, and investors.
Ensure the accuracy and quality of presentation materials.
Support due diligence with potential investors and existing stakeholders.
