About The Position

KKR's 2027 Summer Analyst Program is an opportunity for undergraduate students to join a leading global investment firm. This role is for Summer Analysts in KKR's Insurance business, located in the New York office, specifically within the Risk - Sector Analytics team. The Sector Analytics team provides quantitative solutions to investment teams and other stakeholders, maintaining asset cashflow models for the Insurance investment portfolio and continuously improving them with new investments. This role offers hands-on exposure to Risk, Investments, Actuarial, and Finance across KKR’s insurance platform. Exceptional performers may be considered for full-time offers in 2028.

Requirements

  • Anticipated graduation date from an undergraduate program in December 2027 - June 2028
  • Area of study in quantitative discipline such as math, statistics, computer science or related technical fields
  • Strong analytic, programming and database skills
  • Understanding of various asset classes, such as fixed income, equities, credit, foreign exchange, derivatives and risk management concepts
  • Comfort using AI tools to improve productivity and quality of work
  • Curiosity about and openness to adopting emerging AI technologies in day-to-day workflows
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and relevance
  • Strong project management, verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with people of varying backgrounds
  • Strong sense of business ethics
  • Ability to work independently and excel in a dynamic, exciting, and fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Python is preferred
  • SQL and Excel is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Work with senior team members to address various requests from investment teams and other stakeholders
  • Build out and improve end-to-end processes focused on providing cashflows and analytics for a diverse array of fixed income investments
  • Analyze historical asset performance data, identify key drivers and create business intelligence reports
  • Utilize scalable technologies to enhance the efficiency of various investment analytics processes
  • Contribute to the development and testing of new asset modeling frameworks
  • Work with other team members to build investment-oriented applications and Tableau dashboards
  • Address time-sensitive requests for live trades
