About The Position

Rockefeller Capital Management offers a distinctive Summer Analyst Program experience as a premier independent financial advisory firm. Our diversified businesses, boutique size, and entrepreneurial culture shape a dynamic, personalized experience for our Analysts. Our Summer Analyst program is a ten-week (June-August) internship program designed to provide an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere of Rockefeller Capital Management. Summer Analysts will be fully immersed in the day-to-day activities of the business providing opportunities to learn, grow, and excel. Key highlights of the program include: Mentorship program to support learning and development. Weekly speaker series to promote a deep understanding of the firm, our culture and share personal perspectives from employees. Intensive training on our business model and how employees of the firm contribute to achieving our goals. Frequent connectivity with other Summer Analysts and our program team. Round table discussions on current events with macro and micro relevance to our business. Opportunities to exchange ideas and network with peers, mentors, and senior leaders throughout the firm. To be eligible for consideration, students must be projected 2028 graduates and in good standing at the school. Analysts should have an interest in the financial services industry and be eager to learn and make an impact. Rockefeller Capital Management’s Platform Management team is seeking a Summer Analyst to support their team this summer. The Summer Analyst will work with team members based in the Hamilton office and assist with platform management work. The individual will assist in developing and delivering end-to-end solutions for a given business problem. The individual will be leveraging standard development tools, cloud services along with AI models and AI enabled services to develop solutions.

Requirements

  • High school degree required
  • Projected 2028 graduates
  • In good standing at the school
  • Interest in the financial services industry
  • Eager to learn and make an impact

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred degree in Computer Science or Analytics or any related fields.
  • Prior internship experience in Python / Machine learning a plus
  • Knowledge in AI and data science

Responsibilities

  • Learn Rockefeller Capital Management financial service offerings.
  • Developing and delivering solutions for a given business problem.
  • Build working proficiency in SQL — querying, joins, aggregation, and writing readable, performant queries against production data.
  • Learn programming fundamentals in a scripting language — data structures, control flow, functions, and writing code others can read and maintain.
  • Understanding team dynamics and collaboration skills on how to work as team to deliver solutions.
  • Understand the importance of security across the stack.
