About The Position

Welltower is seeking a Summer '27 Intern for their FP&A group. This internship offers a unique opportunity for students to be immersed in high-priority work from day one, collaborating directly with teams to evaluate opportunities, design innovative solutions, and help deliver long-term value. Interns will have direct access to senior leadership and hands-on experience across the platform. The FP&A group is responsible for leading financial planning efforts, providing insights into corporate and segment-level performance, and driving the adoption of innovative technology solutions for a data-driven culture. This specific internship will focus on portfolio analysis while supporting broader FP&A processes.

Requirements

• Current undergraduate or graduate student majoring in Finance, Real Estate, or Business Administration is preferred.
• Previous internship and/or work experience preferred.
• Successful completion of a background check, drug screening, and verification of employment, education, and other credentials relevant to the position.

Responsibilities

• Conducting variance analysis against forecasts and investigating material differences
• Performing monthly data integrity and validation checks
• Supporting ad hoc segment-level analysis
• Creating and maintaining financial models
• Collaborating with teams across the organization
• Compiling property- and portfolio-level financial data
• Analyzing financial statements and key performance metrics
• Assisting with facility-level forecasts and projections
• Supporting preparation for quarterly earnings calls
• Assessing operator and tenant performance
• Presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership through systematic and ad hoc reporting
• Participating in regular performance review meetings with segment leadership
• Performing other duties as assigned
