The Equipment Finance group is primarily responsible for supporting the sales process and gaining exposure to and knowledge of Equipment Finance relationship managers, pricing teams, portfolio managers, equipment managers, tax personnel, closing specialists, and funding/documentation/onboarding teams in all matters related to the origination, administration, and closing of new lease and loan transactions.

Requirements

Pursuing Bachelor’s degree with strong financial or business background
Graduation date between December 2027 - May 2028 ONLY
Minimum 3.3 GPA required
Excellent presentation skills, both oral and written
Strong analytical skills and an interest in financial analysis, corporate finance and financial markets
Good working knowledge of financial modeling and valuation
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to draw conclusions based on financial data
Process orientation and attention to detail
Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Performs a wide range of complex analytical support functions.
Apply analytical skills to provide high quality work products to support efforts of the Equipment Finance Group.
Ability to find, research and assess financial information
Develop a broad functional understanding and working knowledge of the Equipment Finance Originations and Syndications market, the business unit’s capabilities, target market, risk appetite, pricing targets and policies/procedures
Support day-to-day coverage, origination, and transaction management responsibilities for existing and prospective clients including covered Sponsors
Develop familiarity with broad economic and market trends
Provides support to the Equipment Finance Relationship Managers (“EF RMs”) and Syndications team in the coordination, formulation, evaluation and submission of opportunity memos, deal screens, credit submittals, Rapport applications, preparation of Offering Memorandums, and assisting in underwriting, credit analysis, and due diligence
Preparation of pitch materials and market updates for client meetings
Work with EFG group, in addition to other corporate banking groups on deal team presentations
Apply knowledge of credit analysis, asset-based lending and capital markets activity
