How You’ll Make this Internship Opportunity Your Own GDIT is seeking a talented Software Developer who is passionate about technology and software applications. This individual must be motivated to deliver innovative capabilities that directly impact some of GDIT’s most complex government, defense, and intelligence projects across the country. The work you’ll do will be impactful to the mission of our NYS customer. You will play a crucial role as you join our team in partnership with New York State of Health (NYSoH) to provide comprehensive health coverage to more than 7.0 million New Yorkers through its Health Benefit Exchange (HBE). A Day in the Life Assist in researching, designing, developing, and/or modifying enterprise-wide or customer systems. Assist in performing systems modeling, simulation, and analysis. Assist in testing, diagnosing, and fixing incidents. Participates in large system and subsystem planning. Help ensure that applications and systems are compliant with established quality standards and meet customer and regulatory requirements. Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned. Participate in special projects as required. Supports the completion of technical tasks. Assists with the solutions to technical problems of limited scope. Assists with the coordination for new products, software, upgrades, and equipment. Assists with documentation for processes and procedures related to computer systems and operations. GDIT interns are paid full-time (40 hours/week) for 10 consecutive weeks. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
