About The Position

Substance use disorders (SUD) are a leading driver of suffering and early mortality among adolescents and young adults. Despite the urgency, most SUD treatment programs are fragmented, outdated, and fail to address the complexity of co-occurring mental health needs. The SUD Medical Director will serve as the founding clinician and operational architect of this work, ensuring that every patient engaged in SUD care receives transformational treatment, every therapist is properly supported, and the program meaningfully contributes to Charlie Health’s overall impact. We’re a team of passionate, forward-thinking professionals eager to take on the challenge of the mental health crisis and play a formative role in providing life-saving solutions. If you’re inspired by our mission and energized by the opportunity to increase access to mental healthcare and impact millions of lives in a profound way, apply today.
