About The Position
Wood Violet Recovery is seeking a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) to lead therapeutic and educational group programming for their Substance Use Disorder (SUD) program. This role is suited for individuals skilled in group facilitation within a structured, collaborative clinical setting. The position may also involve managing an individual caseload.
Requirements
- Active CSAC in the state of Wisconsin (required).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year experience working with individuals with substance use disorders.
- Valid WI Driver’s License.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screen.
- CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
Responsibilities
- Lead daily therapeutic, educational, and process groups (primary duty).
- Maintain group curriculum and documentation.
- Provide individual counseling as needed.
- Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Support client engagement, safety, and progress.
