About The Position

Prestige Healthcare Resources Inc (PHRI) is seeking an experienced, pro-active, thoughtful team member who can make a substantial and valuable impact to the organization. We currently provide services to over 1,500 patients in two different states. We are in growth mode and looking to scale to providing care to over 10,000 patients in 5 different states over the next 3 years. Our focus is advocating and implementing an integrated care model approach to the underserved population undergoing behavioral health related issues. The SUD Clinical Director is responsible for the supervision and oversight of all clinical services within the SUD program .The incumbent provides vision and leadership to ensure quality service provision and coordination of services to adult patients being serviced within the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) program. Is responsible for the clinical direction and day-to-day delivery of clinical services provided to client(s) in the program. The Clinical Director must be a clinician who is licensed to practice independently in the District and supervise other clinical staff.

Requirements

  • Valid DC clinical license with approved supervisor certification (CAC I, CAC II, APRN, RN, LMFT, LPC, LGSW, LISW, LICSW, Psychologist, Physician).
  • Three (3) years of administrative supervisory experience, years of experience working in Substance and behavioral health programs, experience, and knowledge of direct behavioral health services, including assessment, treatment, and consultation,
  • Knowledge of diverse modalities of counseling and diagnostic principles,
  • Knowledge of, and ability to, apply counseling and diagnostic theories and techniques to a full range of diverse client populations as well as co-occurring disorders,
  • Knowledge of clinical research literature, Program development, data, and performance management experience,
  • Belief in a strengths-based approach to human services.
  • General knowledge of management principles.
  • Special knowledge of behavioral modification
  • Special knowledge in the care and needs of the emotionally challenged population.
  • The ability to supervise others, manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • The ability to design, implement, and monitor systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skill as well as active listening skills are required.
  • Ability to comprehend, plan, direct and coordinate activities to meet overall program standards as directed.
  • Must be able to work effectively with clients, their families, outside agencies and other members of the staff.
  • Must be able to maintain confidential client and personnel information.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group counseling according to individualized treatment plans and in accordance with professional standards
  • Create, maintain, and submit accurate records and documents in a timely manner
  • Maintain current knowledge of assessment and treatment techniques, criminal justice systems, and community resources using in-service training, seminars, workshops, and publications
  • Manage all members of clinical staff, including hiring and evaluating job performance
  • Provide crisis support to therapists and clients as needed
  • Provide ongoing assessment and evaluation of the clinical program to ensure that client needs, agency standards and funding requirements are met
  • Maintain documentation, client files, and statistics as required by agency policies and funding sources
  • Manage client and outcomes tracking in client database
  • Use outcome data to manage staff and program performance
  • Prioritize the use of best evidence-based practices, including researching programming trends and current practices being used in other jurisdictions.
