SUD Counselor – CADC Certified
About The Position
The Dalles Treatment Center is seeking a SUD Counselor – CADC Certified. This role involves assisting clients in identifying, maximizing, and relating their strengths to appropriate social, educational (academic and vocational), and occupational goals. The counselor will serve as a source of hope and support for clients transitioning to a drug-free existence, offering emotional and physical support throughout their journey. A key aspect of the role is ensuring clients receive the best care by adhering to program policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, performing duties within the scope of their professional license and certification.
Requirements
- Oregon CADC R, I, II, or III licensure.
- Valid driver's license.
- Meet Oregon requirements for employment in an opioid treatment program.
- Adherence to federal guidelines regarding prohibited substances, even those legal at the state level.
- Stable workspace and internet connection.
Responsibilities
- Assisting clients in identifying, maximizing, and relating their strengths to appropriate social, educational (academic and vocational), and occupational goals.
- Providing emotional and physical support to clients as they adjust to a drug-free existence.
- Ensuring clients receive the best care by adhering to program policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Performing duties within the scope of their professional license and certification.
