Requirements

  • Hold the credentials of a Qualified Addiction Professional as defined by the Missouri Credentialing Board, Inc. (MCB)
  • Certification as a Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor (CADC), Certified Reciprocal Alcohol Drug Counselor (CRADC), Certified Reciprocal Advanced Alcohol Drug Counselor (CRAADC), or Registered Alcohol Drug Counselor (RADC), or Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional (CCJP)
  • Thorough knowledge of caseload management and rehabilitation methods related to mental health and substance use disorder treatment
  • Familiarity with the problems encountered by individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders
  • Ability to establish rapport with client populations and employ effective counseling techniques
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of program policies, procedures, and regulations

Responsibilities

  • Seamlessly guide individuals through intake, screening, and assessment processes while upholding the gold standard set by state regulatory/CARF/agency guidelines.
  • Develop personalized roadmaps for growth and evolution, guided by the latest advancements in state regulatory/CARF protocols.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings, unraveling the complexities of each case and offering invaluable insights.
  • Ensure a steady flow of compassionate care to those who rely on our support.
  • Record every service provided to uphold the integrity and accuracy of client records.
  • Orchestrate final correspondences with precision and care to facilitate a smooth and empowering journey forward.
  • Refine your skills in evidence-based practices and elevate your clinical proficiency through mandatory trainings.
  • Embody professionalism in every interaction, leaving a lasting impression on those we serve.
  • Foster trust and collaboration with referral sources, clients, and colleagues alike.
  • Offer steadfast support and a compassionate presence in times of uncertainty and distress.
  • Guide clients toward empowerment and resilience in group sessions, workshops, and individual therapy.
