About The Position

The SuccessFactors Technical Consultant is a key role at Syntax. This role involves developing inbound and outbound interfaces to/from cloud to On-Premise and Cloud instances of SAP Products. The consultant will be responsible for configuration and extension of standard iFlows, defining custom iFlows, local & exception sub-processes, and exception handling. Expertise in handling various integration adapters in SAP CPI (SFSF, ODATA, SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, HTTP, Process Direct, REST Adapters) is required for exchanging messages between sender and receiver. The role also includes developing value mapping and Groovy, handling data conversions (JSON to XML, CSV to XML), and utilizing CPI pallet options (integration patterns – message transformations, enricher, splitter, etc.). Experience with SAP BTP, handling security artifacts, encryption, decryption mechanisms, and SSH keys is also part of the responsibilities. Additionally, the role supports pre-sales initiatives, assists in demonstration set ups, delivers high-quality demonstrations and presentations, supports functional and technical leads in workshops, designs and supports proof of concepts, and assists in preparing workshop/training materials. The consultant will proactively identify process improvements and gather/analyze client business requirements and objectives.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of SuccessFactors integrations (CPI/BTP)
  • 3-5 years experience in the role of Technical Consultant
  • Implementation of IAS/IPS, SSO
  • Confident engaging with all levels of management both customer and internal
  • Polished presentation skills
  • Extensive knowledge of middleware technologies such as Boomi, SAP BTP, Integration Center

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with EDI integrations, API management
  • Experience on AMS projects and is aware of the Service processes of AMS
  • Experience with SAP HCM (on-premise)
  • Experience with GenAI, Machine Learning

Responsibilities

  • Developing inbound and outbound interfaces to/from the cloud to On-Premise and Cloud instances of SAP Products
  • Configuration and extension of standard iFlows
  • Defining custom iFlows, local & exception sub-processes, exception handling
  • Handling various integration adapters in SAP CPI (SFSF, ODATA, SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, HTTP, Process Direct, REST Adapters) to exchange messages between sender and receiver
  • Developing value mapping and Groovy and using it in iFlow
  • Handling different data conversions like JSON to XML, CSV to XML, etc.

  • Experience in SAP BTP
  • Handling security artifacts, encryption, and decryption mechanisms and SSH keys
  • Provides support for pre-sales initiatives that include developing and reviewing roadmaps, estimates, and responses to RFP/RFQ’s
  • Able to complete/assist in demonstration set ups and create and delivers high quality demonstrations and presentations
  • Responsible for supporting functional and technical leads in workshops
  • Designs and supports proof of concepts to demonstrate proposed technical solutions
  • Assists and review the preparation of workshop/training materials
  • Proactively identifies process improvements, including clear and concise solution definitions
  • Gathers and analyzes the clients’ business requirements and objectives
