About The Position

Under the general direction of the COO, the CPI Manager is responsible for leading the development and management of product objectives for the entire product line, outlining key initiatives, and enhancements to be delivered over time. Prioritize initiatives based on customer needs, and business priorities. Combustion Parts Inc. (“CPI”), a leading provider of new combustion components for heavy-frame industrial gas turbines. CPI produces the highest quality E- and F-class combustion hardware in the industry. Also specializing in transition pieces, cap and liner assemblies for Frame 6B, 7B/7E/EA, 7FA.03 / .04 and 9Es. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of expertise in managing a portfolio of products in the Power Generation or Oil and Gas Industries.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving innovation and growth within a product portfolio.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business development, engineering, technical, and sales, to drive portfolio initiatives forward.
  • Strong Product Portfolio leadership and team management skills, with the ability to support and influence others to achieve results.
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Turbine operations is preferred.
  • Bachelors degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product portfolio strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Define the vision, objectives, and priorities for the product portfolio and ensure alignment with company strategies.
  • Develop and provide strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, customers, and industry vendors.
  • Lead, plan and coordinate the day-to-day activities of operating personnel to meet customer schedules including efficient utilization of resources as it relates to unit operations.
  • Daily supervision, monitoring, coaching, developing, and performance management of employees to ensure a productive workforce in compliance with company policies, procedures and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Provide superior customer service by identifying and exceeding customer expectations and maintaining transparent communication.
  • Manage contracts, schedules, vendors, project costs, and accurately track and document delays and extra work.
  • Manages the allocation and coordination of assets, personnel, and resources across multiple locations, optimizing operational excellence and responsiveness to customer demands.
  • Oversees the discovery and mitigation of operational risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies, and develops and enforces a strong risk management framework.
  • Participate in strategic and business planning initiatives.
  • Develop and manage the operating groups’ O&M budget and expenditures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure successful operations and business continuity.
