Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Precise and thorough in reviewing documents.
Minimum of a High school diploma or GED, required
Valid Title Producer’s License, as required by applicable state law, within 1 month of hire

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Resware, SoftPro, or similar title software is a plus.
Basic knowledge of real estate transactions and escrow services, preferred
Minimum of 2 years customer service experience, preferred

Responsibilities

Examine transaction documentation, including purchase agreements and real estate documents.
Review title commitments, clearances, liens, and deeds to identify discrepancies or defects.
Collaborate closely with Escrow Officers throughout the pre-closing process.
Deliver lender commitments, CPLs, wire instructions, and pre-CD details.
Analyze complex title issues and propose effective solutions.
Work with title exam professionals and underwriters to address potential sale-affecting hiccups.
Ensure accurate documentation in our title software (Resware or SoftPro).
Gather and enter transaction information, including commissions, broker fees, HOA contacts, tax details, and payoffs.
Order title commitment updates and other necessary updates.
Prepare deeds, discharges, and POAs.
