We are currently seeking an experienced Subsurface Utility Engineering Field Technician to join our Survey and Utility Designation team in our Baltimore, MD location.

Requirements

High school diploma or state equivalency certificate required
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
Ability to effectively communicate orally/written at all levels of the organization
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to handle multiple assignments
US Citizenship required

Nice To Haves

Associate's or Bachelor’s degree
LSIT certification
Experience marking utilities for MDOT SHA, MTA and/or MPA

Responsibilities

Interpret Utility Plans, As-Builts and GIS Data
Perform Field Investigations for evidence of Existing Utilities
Operate Electromagnetic Locating Equipment
Perform Utility Designation for Engineering Design
Sketch approximate Designated Utility alignments and related data
Coordinate with Survey Field Crews for Mapping of Designation Marks
