About The Position

CEO is a Community Action Agency committed to making a positive impact by supporting customers, colleagues, and the community. We are seeking Substitute Teachers for our Troy and Lansingburgh locations to provide classroom coverage in infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms. This role involves assisting staff with classroom management, activities, and daily tasks, working collaboratively with teachers, communicating effectively with families, and following safety and health practices to maintain a safe learning environment. The position requires demonstrating effective classroom management and responsibility for the supervision of all children.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience working with young children
Must be at least 18 years of age
Candidates must be able to work in the US without the need for Visa Sponsorship.
Applicants for this position will be required to complete standard background clearances.

Responsibilities

Provide classroom coverage in infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms.
Assist staff with classroom management, activities, and daily tasks, as needed.
Work collaboratively with teachers and communicate effectively with families.
Follow safety and health practices in the daily operation of duties to maintain a safe learning environment.
Demonstrates effective classroom management, including responsibility for supervision of all children.
