About The Position
Berkshire Hills Regional School District is seeking Substitute Teachers for all schools in Great Barrington, Stockbridge, and West Stockbridge. This position is crucial for ensuring continuity of education when regular teachers are absent.
Requirements
- Minimum of Associate's Degree.
- Demonstrated knowledge of, concern for, and ability to work with students of varying needs, talents, and abilities.
- Must complete and submit an application packet including an application, resume, nursing license, college/university transcripts, and 3 letters of reference.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction to students in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
- Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher or district guidelines.
- Supervise students during class time and other school-related activities.
- Assess student work and provide feedback as appropriate.
- Communicate with school administration and staff as needed.
