Requirements

Minimum of 60 college credit hours or an Associate's Degree
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Dependable, adaptable, and professional
A passion for helping students succeed in a K–12 educational setting

Nice To Haves

At least one year of childcare, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, youth programs, or related experience preferred

Responsibilities

Lead the classroom by following the teacher's lesson plans
Create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment
Encourage student participation and keep students on task throughout the day
Maintain classroom expectations and manage student behavior professionally
Supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, recess, and transitions
Communicate effectively with teachers and school administrators regarding the day's activities and any student concerns
