About The Position

The Substitute Teacher provides instruction and support to students in the absence of their regular teacher. This role involves implementing lesson plans, monitoring student safety, managing classroom behavior, and ensuring academic focus. This role may also substitute for the Preschool when needed.

Requirements

• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Ability to pass criminal background check including fingerprinting
• Ability to work with a diverse student population
• Support of the school's Mission

Nice To Haves

• BS/MS degree in related field
• Active substitute licensure in IL
• Secondary teaching experience
• Schedule flexibility
