Requirements

  • Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements
  • High School diploma/GED required
  • Twelve units in Child Development, including the core courses of Growth & Development (3 units), Child, Family & Community (3 units), Curriculum (3 units), Principles and Practices (3 units)
  • Transcripts will be required at time of interview

Nice To Haves

  • AA/BA in Early Childhood Education preferred
  • 12 months of professional teaching experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
  • Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
  • Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines

Benefits

  • The hourly compensation for this role is between $22.00 - $26.85 per hour.
