Caprock Academy is seeking a full-time Substitute Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Caprock Academy is a public, tuition-free school chartered by the Colorado Charter School Institute and utilizes the timeless principles of classically oriented education. The school follows the Core Knowledge© curriculum in grades K–8, which includes language arts, mathematics, science, history, geography, fine arts, and physical education. This curriculum is content-rich, cumulative, and coherently sequenced. The academic foundation is rooted in classical education philosophy and pedagogy, following the grammar, logic, and rhetoric trivium. The school’s mission is to help all students achieve their highest academic and character potential using proven, accelerated academic programs while providing a safe environment. This mission is achieved through a vision of strengthening the community via the involvement of parents, educators, and community leaders working together to provide an environment that fosters academic excellence and develops strong character in students. The school shapes global citizens who set life goals and practice lives of service and virtue through its core values of character, accountability, and academics. This is a full-time, on-campus position supporting students in grades K–12 across all subjects, including special education. The Full-Time Substitute Teacher must be flexible and ready to step into a variety of roles as assigned each day, which may include classroom teacher, educational assistant, office personnel, special education support, or other school-based roles. This position plays a key role in maintaining continuity of instruction and supporting a safe and structured school environment.
