About The Position
Mannahouse Academy (MCA) is seeking reliable, faith-driven Substitute Teachers to support students in grades K-12 when regular teachers are unavailable. This role is vital in maintaining both academic excellence and a Christ-centered classroom environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred)
- K-12 Teaching/classroom experience (preferred)
- Active Christian faith and alignment with school’s mission
- Ability to teach students, with high level of classroom management skills
- Dependable, flexible, and servant-hearted
Responsibilities
- Deliver lessons based on teacher-provided plans
- Supervise students in classrooms and common areas
- Uphold Christian values in behavior and instruction- supporting education with theology, and provide pastoral support to students as needed
- Communicate clearly with staff and administration
- Ensure a safe, respectful learning environment
