About The Position
This application is for new substitute teachers to BISD. Our next sub training will be at the ALC, 1101 17th St. on August 5, 2026 at 9 am. If you were a substitute with BISD last year during the month of April or May, you do not need to fill out this application.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 12 college hours
- Pay a non-refundable fee of approximately $40.00
- Satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check
- Two letters of character reference
- Copy of college transcripts
- Copy of applicable teaching certification(s)
