About The Position
New Braunfels ISD is seeking Substitute Teachers for the 26/27 school year. We aim to maintain a focused substitute list to provide consistent work opportunities. Substitutes are expected to commit to a minimum of 20 full-day assignments throughout the year, with a particular need for availability on Mondays and Fridays. If you are unable to work these days, please do not apply.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or higher (original transcript required at onboarding).
- Willingness to work a minimum of 10 days per semester.
- Satisfactory outcome of Fingerprinting/Background check.
- Attendance at new substitute onboarding.
- Completion of state-required online compliance courses.
Responsibilities
- Fulfill a minimum of 20 full-day substitute assignments for the 26/27 school year.
- Be available to work on Mondays and Fridays as needed throughout the district.
