Associate Degree or higher (required for licensing) Positive, friendly, and professional attitude Passion for working with students and supporting education Excellent communication skills Clean State and Federal background check Willingness to complete a drug screening Ability to obtain a Wisconsin Substitute Teaching License (we provide full guidance and support) Interview with the Berlin School District may be required What You’ll Do: As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting student learning by: Delivering lesson plans left by the classroom teacher Maintaining a positive, orderly, and engaging classroom environment Taking attendance and managing classroom routines according to school procedures Supervising students and fostering a safe, respectful learning space Building positive relationships with students, staff, and administrators Following all internal Parallel Education policies and procedures, including maintaining schedule availability and adhering to our attendance expectations - reliability is critical Following all school and district policies, including emergency protocols Take advantage of Substitute Teaching as a stepping stone to further your career!
