About The Position

Guidepost Montessori is seeking on-call Substitute Teachers to support mixed-age Montessori classrooms when full-time teachers are out. This as-needed role is suitable for individuals seeking flexible hours and involves supporting multiple classrooms serving children ages 0–6. No formal Montessori training is required; training is provided during orientation and onboarding. Substitute Teachers help maintain a calm, engaging, nurturing learning environment. The position may also offer a path to future full-time Assistant Teacher opportunities.

Requirements

• Negative TB test within the last 12 months.
• Valid state background check.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Warm, friendly, and dependable demeanor.
• Passion for working with young children.

Nice To Haves

• Early Childhood Education (ECE) units.
• Recent experience working with children ages 0–6.
