About The Position

Castle Rock School District #401 is seeking Substitute Teachers for the 2026-27 school year. Candidates must possess the appropriate Washington State credentials and/or endorsement to be considered. Applications will only be accepted during three designated 3-week windows each year. Interested candidates should complete all application materials online at www.applitrack.com/castlerock/onlineapp. Substitute time is managed through Frontline Absence Management and verified by building sign-in sheets. Reports are submitted monthly for payment on the last working day of the following month. Direct deposit is used for all employees, and pay stubs are available via Employee Access. Banking information must be kept current, and Direct Deposit forms must be physically signed and submitted for processing. Employee Information Update forms should be used for changes to personal information.

Requirements

• Hold proper Washington State credentials and/or endorsement.

• Possess current banking information for direct deposit.
• Understand and adhere to district policies regarding non-discrimination and employee information updates.

Nice To Haves

• Substitute teachers who worked 60 or more days in the previous school year will begin the new school year at the 31-60 day pay rate ($35.91/hour).

Responsibilities

• Perform substitute teaching duties as assigned.
• Report substitute time via Frontline Absence Management.
• Ensure building sign-in sheets are used for verification.
• Submit required forms for direct deposit and personal information updates.
