Substitute Teacher-Childcare
About The Position
Montessori Children's House of Denver-Park Hill is seeking a Substitute Childcare Teacher to maintain continuity in its educational programs when regular teachers are absent. The role calls for flexibility, patience, and a genuine love of working with young children. The school offers a supportive environment and resources to help educators create positive learning environments, along with education incentives and career development programs. The substitute teacher helps lead learning activities that promote children's development and growth, ensures their safety and well-being, monitors their progress and development, and creates a harmonious environment for children and fellow teachers. Starting pay is $19.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet.
- Flexibility, patience, and a genuine love for working with young children.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center is preferred.
- ECT qualifications are preferred.
