Requirements

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements
High School diploma/GED required
Twelve units in Child Development, including the core courses of Growth & Development (3 units), Child, Family & Community (3 units), Curriculum (3 units), Principles and Practices (3 units)
Transcripts will be required at time of interview

Nice To Haves

AA/BA in Early Childhood Education preferred
12 months of professional teaching experience preferred

Responsibilities

Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center or in nearby locations
