About The Position

School Professionals is hiring substitute teachers and teacher aides to work in any of New York City’s five boroughs and/or parts of Long Island. Short-term and long-term assignments may be available. The role involves carrying out classroom teacher duties, following school and School Professionals policies, and maintaining a clean, safe, and supportive classroom environment. Candidates should have a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment and report to scheduled work reliably and punctually.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 3 months of experience in a teaching, childcare, or analogous position serving preschool through college, or a semester of student teaching, or enrollment in or completion of a Master’s in Education.
