Substitute Teacher
About The Position
The Substitute Instructor teaches in a regular classroom setting, presenting instruction in a designated subject area. The role promotes a positive classroom atmosphere to support student motivation and maintains classroom discipline to maximize learning. The Substitute Instructor also maintains student personnel folders and records and forwards daily attendance to the Student Records area. Job Corps is a nationwide residential career training program that helps eligible young people ages 16 through 24 complete high school, train for careers, and obtain employment. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- College degree, trade certification, or military experience.
- Must be at least 22 years of age, per Florida Department of Education substitute teaching requirements.
- Pass a drug screen in compliance with the Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
- Successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check is a condition of employment.

- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
