About The Position

Guidepost Montessori is seeking warm, dependable substitute teachers to support mixed-age Montessori classrooms when full-time teachers are absent. No formal Montessori training is required; training is provided during orientation and onboarding. This is an on-call, as-needed position supporting multiple classrooms serving children ages 0–6, with the goal of maintaining a calm, engaging, and nurturing learning environment. Hours and days vary according to school needs, making the role suitable for people seeking flexible or supplemental work. The position may also provide a pathway to a full-time Assistant Teacher role. Requirements

Negative TB test within the last 12 months.
Valid state background check.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Warm, friendly, and dependable demeanor.
Passion for working with young children.

Nice To Haves

Early Childhood Education (ECE) units.
Recent experience working with children ages 0–6.
