About The Position

Sub Teacher Source is seeking dedicated Substitute Teachers to support students' educational needs in diverse school environments. Substitute Teachers provide continuity in students’ education when regular teachers are unavailable by facilitating lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and maintaining a safe, respectful, positive, and productive learning environment. The role involves adapting to different classrooms and grade levels, communicating with students, staff, and parents as needed, and following school district policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have 30 or more college hours.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt easily to different educational settings and grade levels.
• Passion for education and making a positive impact on students’ lives.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in teaching or substitute teaching is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, respectful learning environment.
• Facilitate the teacher’s lesson plans to ensure continuity in students’ education.
• Adapt to different classroom environments and grade levels while maintaining a positive and productive atmosphere.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents as needed.
