About The Position

Guidepost Montessori is hiring on-call Substitute Teachers to support mixed-age Montessori classrooms serving children ages 0–6 when full-time teachers are absent. This as-needed role offers flexible hours and involves helping maintain a calm, engaging, safe, and nurturing learning environment across multiple classrooms. Montessori training is not required; training is provided during orientation and onboarding. The position may offer a path to a full-time Assistant Teacher role. Guidepost Montessori is part of a global community of educators working to expand high-quality Montessori programs and foster independence, curiosity, and respect for each child. Requirements

• Negative TB test within the last 12 months.
• Valid state background check.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Warm, friendly, and dependable demeanor.
• Passion for working with young children.

Nice To Haves

• Early Childhood Education (ECE) units.
• Recent experience working with children ages 0–6.
