About The Position

Join Kido International Preschools Flex Team! This is a flexible substitute position designed for individuals who want to work in Early Childhood Education without being tied to a single classroom or a set 40-hour schedule. Whether you’re a student, a long team teacher looking for more flexibility, or exploring a transition into the field; this role allows you to receive training, be part of a high quality supportive team, and pick up shifts across our schools as it fits your availability. As a part of our sub team, we will pay for you to complete the CDA (Child Development Associate) program and develop your skills as an educator. This is an opportunity to get to know Kido and build experience across different age groups. Team members looking for more permanent positions are given clear pathways into full time roles as assistant or lead teachers. This role allows you to gain hands-on experience working with various age groups and learn from our team across our Houston schools.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• A passion for working with young children.
• Fluent in Spanish with ability to read, write, and speak.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in Spanish and English with ability to read, write, and speak.

Responsibilities

• Substitute in a lead or assistant teacher role depending on current qualifications.
• Work shifts across Kido International Preschools schools.
• Gain hands-on experience working with various age groups (Infant, Toddler, and Preschool - Ages 0-5).
• Learn from the Kido team across Houston schools.
