About The Position
Dexter High School is seeking a part-time Substitute Teacher for Spanish for the 2026/2027 school year. This position is for morning hours only and will begin on September 8, 2026, with an unknown end date. The compensation is $180 per day.
Requirements
- Minimum of 60 semester hours from an accredited college or university.
- Eligibility to obtain a Daily Substitute Permit from the Michigan Department of Education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff.
- Excellent organization and communication skills (written, verbal, and listening skills).
- Experience teaching elementary school students.
- Successful classroom management strategies and skills.
Nice To Haves
- State of Michigan Teaching Certificate with FF endorsement.
Responsibilities
