About The Position

Lincoln Public School District is accepting applications from qualified candidates who are interested in working within our district schools during the 2026-2027 school year. The Substitute Teacher Assistant will provide supportive services necessary for assisting the classroom teacher in their task of providing quality instruction to students.

Requirements

• Qualified candidates interested in working within district schools for the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Perform those tasks assigned by the classroom teacher or the building Principal.
• Work with small groups of students, and/or individual student as assigned reinforcing teacher planned and directed activities.
• Perform those aide services necessary to help the teacher in his/her instructional lessons.
• Physically assisting a student on/off of the toilet and or with personal hygiene.
• Transfer student into and out of wheelchair, electric wheelchair, stroller or any other transfer as needed.
• Set-up and monitor student(s) while eating breakfast and or lunch.
• Assist student as needed during adaptive physical education class.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
