About The Position

Teachers Now is seeking Substitute Teachers and Teacher Aides to join their team in Kansas City. These roles involve working in local schools on a daily or long-term basis, providing support to students and maintaining classroom instruction when the regular teacher is unavailable. Teacher Aides will work alongside teachers to assist with classroom activities and student support throughout the school day. Long-term assignments are available for qualified candidates.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Must be able to communicate professionally
• Must be able to follow school and classroom expectations
• Must be willing to work with students and school staff

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with children or students is a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain classroom instruction and provide support to students when the regular teacher is unavailable.
• Work alongside teachers to provide classroom and student support.
• Assist with activities.
• Help students throughout the school day.
