Ampersand Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school community for the 2025–2026 Extended School Year (ESY) program in Bolingbrook, IL. Requirements
- Valid Illinois PEL with LBS1 endorsement
- Passion for inclusive, student-centered instruction
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a resource room setting preferred, but not required—new graduates are welcome and will be supported with mentoring
Responsibilities
- Provide small group and individual instruction
- Implement IEPs and track student progress
- Attend IEP and staff meetings
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
