Requirements
- At least 16-years old
- Demonstrated ability to read
- Demonstrated ability to file, or learn to file, alphabetically and numerically
- Accurate numerical and alphabetical filing skills.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Ability to maintain a high volume and quantity of work.
- Ability to learn a variety of software programs including word processing and integrated library systems.
Responsibilities
- Shelve library materials, straighten and read shelves to maintain accurate order, and remove damaged or worn items from circulation.
- Shift materials, request signage updates as needed, and complete closing procedures.
- Check in items using the sort system and conduct basic troubleshooting.
- Provide directions or refer patrons to the appropriate staff as needed.
- Maintain patron confidentiality in compliance with Wyoming state law.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
