The Plaza, A Fairmont Managed hotel, is seeking a Substitute Pastry Tournant. This role reports to the Executive Pastry Chef and is responsible for assisting in the production of all pastry food items according to hotel recipes and standards. The position requires a strong knowledge of baking and cooking techniques, maintaining product rotation to minimize waste, and ensuring all work areas and equipment are clean and well-maintained. The Substitute Pastry Tournant must also adhere to all kitchen and hotel policies, procedures, and safety and sanitation standards.
