About The Position
The Substitute Nurse provides nursing coverage and performs school nurse duties as needed during the absence of the regular school nurse. The position is hourly, non-exempt, classified, and non-supervisory. It is scheduled flexibly on an as-needed basis and follows the school calendar. The position remains posted until filled.
Requirements
- Current Indiana Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Ability to work as a team with other staff.
- Dependability and punctuality.
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Strong ethical background.

- Experience working in a school environment.
- Previous nursing experience.
