About The Position
The Substitute School Nurse will provide healthcare for chronic and acute illness, as well as injuries. This role involves dispensing student medication per school policies and maintaining confidentiality. The Substitute Nurse will also serve as a member of the Building Emergency Response Team, under the direction of the building principal.
Requirements
- Current Iowa Board of Nursing License (RN with a BSN).
Responsibilities
- Provides Health care for chronic and acute illness, as well as injuries.
- Dispenses student medication per school policies.
- Maintains confidentiality in the school operation.
- Serves as a member of the Building Emergency Response Team, under the direction of the building principal.
