About The Position

The Environmental Charter School is seeking candidates for the position of Substitute Nurse. The Substitute Nurse will work closely with the Director of Health Services, teachers, support staff, and administration, providing health services to the school community. Candidates should be an RN or LPN, energetic, progressive-minded, and willing to collaborate with the school community. The role involves administering aid to students who are ill or injured, administering medications as ordered by a physician, and providing other health services as ordered by a physician.

Requirements

PA nurse licensure
2 years of nursing experience
Clearances current within one year of hire date will be required. This includes Arrest/Conviction Disclosure, Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151), Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Clearance (Act 114), and FBI Criminal Background Check.
Mandated Reporter Training and Commonwealth of PA Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release (Act 168) also will be required.
