About The Position

Join the team at the Lebanon County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) and help support older adults in your community by ensuring they receive the nutritious meals they depend on. As a Part-Time, Substitute Meal Transporter, you will play an essential role in promoting independence, health, and connection for the seniors we serve. This role is perfect for someone who is dependable, compassionate, and enjoys being out on the road. Your deliveries help ensure older adults can remain safe, nourished, and independent at home.

Requirements

Six months of experience which required operation of a motor vehicle as a regular duty; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
No suspension of driver’s license within the last three years.
Meet the PA residency requirement.
Able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

Maintaining accurate and detailed service rosters, ensuring all deliveries are properly documented and completed on schedule.
Delivering meals safely and efficiently to designated locations.
Promptly informing the office of any changes in routes, client needs, or delivery circumstances.
Ordering upcoming meals as required.
Inspecting both the quality and quantity of food before distribution to ensure standards are met.
Keeping their vehicle in safe, clean, and sanitary condition at all times.
