About The Position

Bishop O'Gorman Catholic Schools is seeking Substitute Custodians to help keep its schools safe, clean, and ready for learning. The school system’s mission is to form a community of faith and learning by promoting a Catholic way of life through Gospel values and academic excellence. The starting rate is $17.20 per hour without experience and may increase based on relevant experience. Bishop O'Gorman Catholic Schools is a preschool–12 school system whose schools emphasize Gospel values, student achievement, and community service.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Ability to walk and stand for the majority of the workday.
• Self-starter.
• Attention to detail; dependable and trustworthy.
• Knowledge and skills in cleaning supplies and equipment, inventory control, and time management.
• Understand how the role relates to the mission of Bishop O'Gorman Catholic Schools.
• Exhibit the core values of Faith, Unity, Excellence, and Integrity.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, hallways, lockers, stairs, entryways, bathrooms, teacher workrooms, and other areas throughout the building as needed.
• Assist with cleaning before, during, and after evening activities and events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
