About The Position
The Substation Technician will support the installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical substation equipment and systems. This is a long-term, on-site opportunity in the Garland, TX area.
Requirements
- Previous substation or electrical experience
- Experience with substation equipment, testing, and troubleshooting
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work safely in a substation environment
Nice To Haves
- AutoCAD/SCADA experience
