About The Position
The Substation Design Intern will work closely with engineering resources to develop high-quality substation design packages. The work supports constructable power substation design packages for projects ranging from 34.5 kV to 500 kV. The position is in-office and part-time, up to 40 hours per week, for Winter Break 2026 and/or Summer Break 2027.
Requirements
- Working toward at least an Associate of Science degree or a Bachelor of Science degree in a technically related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Efficiency with AutoCAD.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with engineering resources in developing high-quality substation design packages.
- Help provide engineered design packages for constructability of power substations ranging from 34.5 kV to 500 kV.
