About The Position
Ulteig is currently seeking qualified candidates for a CAD Technician II. The CAD Technician supports an assigned group of engineers by providing technical drafting support and creating construction drawings/designs. Successful candidates will complete tasks within the Substation department designing/drafting projects. Candidates must have strong attention to detail and work well within a team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
- Proven experience in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Demonstrates openness to innovation by embracing and applying evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.
- Must have permanent authorization to work in US.
Nice To Haves
- Two-year technical degree or currently enrolled in school for Technical Drafting preferred.
- Knowledge of MicroStation is a plus.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling a plus.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling software a plus.
- Knowledge in substation electrical protection and control and/or physical design would be beneficial.
