Substance Use Professional (LCAS/LCAS-A, CADC, CCS) - Community Support Team
About The Position
Community Support Team (CST) services are designed to work with adults with Mental Illness and Substance Use needs who have complex treatment needs, enabling them to live in the community. CST is an intensive community-based rehabilitation team service that provides direct treatment and restorative interventions, as well as case management. CST is designed to provide symptom stability by reducing presenting psychiatric or substance use disorder symptoms; restorative interventions for the development of interpersonal, community, coping, and independent living skills; psychoeducation; first responder intervention to deescalate a crisis; and service coordination and ensuring linkage to community services and resources.
Requirements
- A valid LCAS/LCAS-A, CADC, or CCS
- Two years of experience working directly with adults with SUD
- Bachelor's degree
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of experience in adult MH
- 1 year of experience in community-based MH
- 1 year of experience in Adult Substance Use Treatment
Responsibilities
- Provide Community Support Team (CST) services
